And then there is work life..

It's been a while since I blogged here (well that's not really true..I blogged two semesters straight for my sections..). But yeah, a lot has happened in a year and a half. I graduated. My parents came to US. My friends and I went to China. I started working. And a lot more..

A lot of people have been asking me how I like my work. I found it a really hard question to answer. I kinda think that they were waiting for a response like "It is AWESOME!" or "I love it!", but it is hard for me to say that. I am not sure why. I like the work I am doing. (But as I wrote down the previous sentence, I kinda hesitated.) To be precise, generally I like being at work. I like the people there, and the food. But I don't know if I really love my work. I know my project is really important and it boosts my ego when I get anything done. But sometimes I am just kinda lost on what I need to be doing. I got frustrated some times because there are so much stuff that I don't know. It is not like school where I ace like almost all classes and have a feeling of I am on top of things (yes, even for writing classes). I am more shaky and cautious about the work that I am doing. Yes, I know that as I work on it more I will master it better. Indeed, I am much happier now than like a month ago when I felt completely useless. Still I don't think I am being productive or effective enough to justify the salary or other people's anticipation. So with that layer of insecurity, I cannot say that I am enjoying every moment of my work.
